Send a concise outline of the question your piece will answer, its main point and why it will be useful beyond a passing trend. Tell us the likely format, the intended reader and what makes the angle distinct from familiar advice. We favour grounded, specific ideas that do not rely on unverified claims or invented personal experience.

What we can use

We consider explainers, comparisons, seasonal planning, background pieces and carefully bounded how-to articles. Proposals should be suitable for general readers and should not ask them to take on hazardous, specialist or safety-critical work. Please disclose relevant commercial interests and any use of artificial intelligence in preparing a proposal.
